In 2001, the AHCA published a special edition of Austin Archives titled A Few Austin Stories: Excerpts from Oral History Interviews. Part of a larger oral history transcription and preservation project partially funded with a grant from the Bill and Bettye Nowlin Fund of the Austin Community Foundation, this publication is illustrated with historic photographs from the Austin History Center and includes excerpts of selected oral histories included in the project as follows:
